Brockway Summit - Tahoe Rim Trail
Difficulty: intermediate to advanced. Distance: 18 miles. Vertical gain/loss +2100'/-3100'

This portion of the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT) offers spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and some awesome technical singletrack.

Starting at 7200', trail drops off towards Lake Tahoe with a mild 2 mile descent, then a moderately steep climb for 3 miles toward Watson Lake. A flat section around the lake turns to one of the most picturesque, and technical, descents to be found anywhere in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

A little more climbing leads to another fun rolling descent, then up again to Painted Rock, and along the ridge and the clinking shale of Glass Mountain. The ride ends with a technical 4 mile descent to town, then a 2 mile cruise down the bike path back to the shop.
